Getting Started

Follow these simple steps to use the Wave mobile app!

Download the Wave Mobile App: Install it from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
Create Your Wave Account: Follow the instruction to register for a Wave account.
Sign In With the Same Email: Use the exact same email address you registered with at wave.octa.net to log in to the app.
Set Up Your Payment Options (Optional): Add a debit/credit card for reloading funds or enable auto-reload.
Add Your Cards: Link a physical Wave Card by entering its card number. Or, create a virtual Wave Card directly in the app for tap-to-ride convenience.
You’re Ready to Ride! Tap your phone or Wave Card on the validator when boarding, and enjoy automatic fare capping for the best value.

Boarding with the Wave App

Help everyone board quickly and efficiently.

Open the Wave App on your smartphone before boarding.
Select Your Virtual Wave Card in the app to show the QR code.
Hold Your Phone to the Validator as you enter the bus — just like you would with a physical Wave Card.
Watch for the Confirmation – a light and sound will let you know your fare was accepted
Ride with Confidence – your fare is automatically deducted, and with fare capping, you’ll never pay more than the daily or monthly limit.
