Do you have a Wave account?

Wave is OCTA's fare payment system. About Wave

Great! Please enter the email address associated with your Wave account. This will allow us to connect your new reduced fare with your Wave account.

To transfer your existing reduced fare to your new Wave account, you’ll need a photo of yourself.

Your photo file can be uploaded within the form on the next step. Please read the photo guidelines below and then click the “Continue” button.

Photo Guidelines

Full face only, similar to a passport photo
No hats or sunglasses
Must use a plain white or off-white background only
A high resolution, color photograph is required

To transfer your existing reduced fare to your new Wave account in-person, you’ll need to visit the OCTA Store.

For Wave Mobile App Users

If you plan to use the Wave mobile app, please complete the instructions below prior to visiting the OCTA store.

Download Wave mobile app (see download buttons below)
Log in using same email/password as your Wave account
Create a virtual Wave card. Note: you must create your mobile account and create your virtual card before you apply for your reduced fare.

For Physical Wave Card Users

If you plan to use the physical Wave card when boarding, you will be issued a Wave card the same day that you visit the OCTA Store.

If you currently have a Wave card, please bring your card with you.
